Personality Description: Comanche is a pretty well behaved gelding. He has his moments however. He is very soft at the mouth and can not be jerked around. He also does not like whips or being kicked. He responds very well to kisses, clucks, and words. Comanche is very smart. Also, this gelding is very trailer shy, however, Travis is working on that. Something about being in a tight spot. They think he is closterphobic
History: Comanche was born in Germany. He was thought to be a great competitor. He was trained rigorously and beaten. That is where his fear of whips and such comes in. He was tide in tight courters for many days. He was treated like a slave. Finally he cracked. He became very mean and untrustworthy. No one knew what he would do next. So he was put up in an auction.
that is where Travis's grandparents come in. They heard of the horses story and history and just wanted him to have a good final home. A place where he could be a horse. Comanche has bad truth issuses and Travi's grandfather and him are still working on that. He is a great jumper, when no one is on him. But they know he will come around.
Discipline: English. Mostly Jumping but starting on dressage
