Deep in the heart of rural West Virginia lies a modest little horse town where everyone knows everyone and there's never an off season. But there's more to this place than meets the eye. A small stable nestled on the outskirts of town is where our story begins. It has history and more is being written every day. What used to be a small little farm has grown into a budding stable. There's drama, competition, bonds, and break ups. It's all or nothing, and hardly anything is what it seems. This is your chance to make a name for yourself. Think you can handle it? Come join the family down at Pinewood Stables; where everyone is welcome, but only the best survive..

Season:

Temperature:
» Around 90 degrees
Conditions » The weatherman says it's going to be another hot one! It is best to get your horse worked in the morning before it gets hot or in the evening when it has cooled down to avoid over heating. The trail up to the lake is nice and shady and you can both go for a dip at the end. Watch out for ticks!

[ ]Stable Yard (L-I)
A long paved road winds its way through the property past fenced pastures up to the parking lot. Here there are two barns. One is for stallions and geldings, the other for mares and geldings. Not far from the barns the show arenas can be seen and some of the cross country course. Welcome to Rebecca Farm. You have arrived.

[ ]Barns (L-I) (3 sub-boards)
The three barns are painted a natural light brown, and are more than spacious enough. Two of the barns can hold 60 horses, and if need be, temporary barns can also be put up during the Event when countless horses come to stay for the three day eventing.
The third barn is for veterinary housing and holds 20 horses. 10 stalls are isolatory for horses with contagious illnesses, and 10 are for foaling. Each stall can be rigged with a harness to hold the horse up if they cannot do so themselves.

[ ]The Lounge (L-II)
The Lounge is where people can go to kick back and relax for a while. There is a refrigerator that is always stocked with drinks, a vending machine, microwave, coffee machine, two couches, three tables, a TV, Foosball table, and the "wall of fame" where pictures are put up of the riders at Rebecca Farm who have made significant accomplishments.

[ ]The Pond (L-I)
The pond is always well stocked with large and colorful fish. We don't recommend swimming in it, but it serves for a nice place to sit for a while and maybe have a picnic or something of the sort while you watch what goes on around the farm.
00
[ ]Round Pens (L-II)
The round pens have several uses. They are built up to 6ft tall and exceedingly strong so that horses cannot escape from them. You can work on ground work here, breaking, or any sort of basic training.
00
[ ]Paddocks (L-I)
Rebecca Farm has a total of 12 different paddocks, each large enough to contain four horses. Each paddock has a small shelter in it, just in case a storm blows in. They aren't for prolonged containment though, so make sure you don't leave your horse out there too long.
00
[ ]The Pastures (L-I)
Rebecca Farm is approximately 100 acres total, and 20 of those are divided into four pastures. The two front pastures have six foot fences, so if your horse is known to jump out, it is best to keep him here. The back pastures have five four and a half foot fences so the more docile horses may be kept here. Make sure not to put a stallion in with a mare.
00
Facilities
[ ]Indoor Arena (L-II)
The indoor arena at Rebecca Farm is much more than exquisite. It is large enough that two standard size arenas can be set up inside so two things can go on at once. There is a loft viewing room at one end of the arena where you can look down on the arena. There is a wide screen TV in the viewing rooms with live feed of the arena with different camera angles that can be switched to. It also has an attacked tack room, shoeing room, and a break room.
00
[ ]Cross-Country Course (L-III)
The Cross Country course is approximately four miles long at it's most advanced course and has a combination of about 25 jump combinations.

The steeple chase consists of about 12 different jumps, and is a half mile on a single lap. Normally they run full mile steeple chases, the first half mile being run on the out side rail, and the second half mile being run on the inside rail.
00
[ ]Show Grounds (L-IV)
The show grounds is set off from the rest of the facilities. It consists of four arenas all surrounded by raised berms for spectators and with a judging booth. These Arenas are used for dressage for the first day of the Event, warm up jumps for the second day, and show jumping for the third day.

[ ]The Racetrack (L-III)
Rebecca Farm is not only geared towards the more commonplace English and Western riding styles, but it also has a race track for those of the strictly speed horse. If you're not riding a racehorse, be careful on the track, your horse isn't insured for racing injuries.

Trails
[ ]Highline Trail (L-I)
The highline trail is the easiest of the four trails. It takes about an hour round trip and is uphill most of the way, but a very gradual climb and nothing your horse can't handle, but just to be safe, be sure to tell someone where you're going.
00
[ ]Evergreen Trail (L-II)
This trail meanders through the woods on the edge of the property. It is about five miles to the end which is in a clearing. On the edge of the clearing is a fish pond with a dock. There is a log oxer behind the pond, and during the Event at Rebecca Farm spectators gather here to watch.
00
[ ]West Wing Trail (L-III)
This trail is a four mile trail circling the outer edge of the western side of the property. It takes about two hours to complete if you go all the way around.
00
[ ]Hidden Lake Trail (L-IV) (1 sub-board)
This rather rugged trail is not for beginners to go on their own. It has some very steep inclines and takes about four hours just to get to the lake, and that doesn't include the four hours back. There is a cabin on the lake, but it costs about $85 to rent out for two nights. Otherwise, you can camp there for free in tents, but be sure to go prepared, coyotes and bears are known to wander in this area. Most of the time they leave you alone, but it's better to be safe than sorry. All riders must report in to the office before setting out on this trail.

[ ]Super One Foods (L-I)
The Miner's family original business was a small tavern started in 1943 by Tony and Ida Miner that offered local residents ice-cold beer. When Tony Miner noticed that many customers left early in the evening so they could buy their bread and milk before their nearby grocery store closed for the day, he added a milk cooler and bread to the items he sold. And that simple, yet insightful decision based on Tony and Ida's customer's needs is the foundation of what you will still find today when you visit a Super One Foods Store.

[ ]Flathead Lake (L-III)
The Flathead and Swan rivers supply clean fresh water to Flathead Lake year-round. Created by Ice Age glaciers, almost thirty miles long and fifteen miles across at it's widest point, Flathead lake is the largest natural lake in western U.S. A 160 mile shoreline and water covers nearly two-hundred square miles of Montana - and at 300 feet deep, you'd better restring your fishing reel with some extra line.
00
[ ]Flathead River (L-II)
The Flathead River represents the combined flow of hundreds of headwater creeks funneled from the glacial cirques of Glacier National Park and other wild places within the U.S. and Canada. This cold, clear water flows into the North, South and Middle forks of the Flathead, which merge together near Columbia Falls to begin a southward journey. Portions of the upper mainstem Flathead River are classified as “Recreational” within the Wild and Scenic River Classification system. About 20 miles into its journey, after flowing down the gentle, south-sloping gradient of the Flathead Basin floor, the river empties into Flathead Lake. The lower mainstem Flathead River drains from the southwest corner of the lake and draws waters from an arid valley basin throughout its 75-mile course.
